A vintage signed Peter Marsh Ceiling Light, with a wrought Iron frame fitted with a beautiful multi coloured rock glass shade. It is signed - PETER MARSH B'HAM ENGLAND on the underside edge of the cone shaped shade, which measures approx 5 1/8" or 13 cm square around its bottom. It is easily removed ( for changing bulbs etc) by unscrewing two nuts.
The wrought iron frame has curlie cue decoration to its design and is fitted with a normal sized bayonet fit bulb holder, which is made of Bakelite and is working fine and can use any mains power from 120 to 240 volts. It measures approx 15 1/2" or 39.5 cm long x 6 1/4" or 16 cm wide and comes with a replacement ceiling rose, which adds 3" or 7.5 cm to its total length. It dates to the 1950's or early 1960's and is in good working condition. Please see photo's.
