Volvo 240 metric clutch cable bushing, machined, solid bronze. (Gar Box#12)

Old 240 clutches get stiff and the pedal becomes hard to push. This causes the

rubber cable bushing to crack at the lip. 

If your clutch ruins the original Volvo 240 rubber clutch cable bushings

 these metal bushings work great.

They fit the cable perfectly but are shorter in length which makes

no difference. Once mounted these will never need to be replaced.

The tube end on your old rubber bushing may be cut off to extend the

length of the new metal bushing tube if desired; but this is not needed.

Simply cut the end of the old rubber bushing off with scissors, and rubber

cement the rubber tube into place once the bronze bushing is in place.

The bronze bushing alone is all that is required, but the rubber tube may be added.

The new metal bushing does not need to be cemented into place;

it fits just like the the original clutch cable bushing via pressure fit.

You will never need to replace this metal bushing again.
