The LS-ADAT provides 16 channels of ADAT light-pipe I/O to the AES16, LynxTWO and Lynx L22 PCI cards and the AES16e PCI Express card. Mounted next to the primary card, the LS-ADAT is controlled from the Lynx Mixing Application that is already present. This powerful mixer allows the 16 ADAT inputs to be routed to any output and any of the AES16, LynxTWO or L22s analog or digital input signals to be routed to the LS-ADAT’s 16 Lightpipe channels. LS-ADAT installs in an empty bracket internally in your computer, no PCI slot is required

THERE ARE THREE AUCTIONS JUMP ON ALL THREE AND THE STORY BELOW KICKS INTO PLACE IN YOUR STUDIO

Lynx TWO PCI card inserts into PCI slot and then the breakout cables attach at the back. The cables have balanced XLR ins and outs plus digital connectors to interface with other machines and other Lynx cards. This can be linked together with other Lynx Two cards and also linked with the Lynx LS-ADAT (lightpipe expansion card no slot required) card for a lot of channels of ins and out.

Example;

Lynx TWO -A four in and four out (XLR)

plus digital in/out

Lynx TWO-C six in and two out (xlr)

plus digital in/out

Lynx LS-ADAT 16 in and 16 out via lightpipe

When these are combined, then the software mixer, which comes in the (installation) driver lets you record or play all channels simultaneously including 10 inputs with cables, 16 in and the out through the ADAT, and you can route them in all kinds of ways to use for your studio. It’s like a switchboard that looks a little like an audio mixer. Using the onscreen switches you can tap into to several things within one channel and also using similar switches can route them to several places, So once yo uget to know the software panel, you can bring in mic preamps during a session, while also bringing digital lightpipe from a digital mixing console, or similar, all the while sending audio from your D.A.W. to the room monitors, and all adjustable with faders. This setup was my DREAM rig and it sounds SO very good. The specs remain amazing. I don’t have acces o a PC with real PCI slots so I had to change systems. Seriously, if you are fussy about soundand can’t afford a 2k rig, consider thois setup. You must have real PCI slots in your computer. Some newer computers have some pci slots that are “emulated”, however those usually aren’t fast enough and it will install but not run well
