Anton Seder / Naturalistische Decorations-Malereien (Naturalistic Decorative Painting)
This work is considered a significant example of the Art Nouveau style, known as Jugendstil in Germany. Seder, an art professor and director of the School of Applied Arts in Strasbourg, created these designs to illustrate ideas for interior painting and decoration.
Colored lithograph. Page is 19" long, 12.5" wide.
Main print is 13.75" long, 9.25" wide. Page 46.
Features gold shimmer and numerous faces within the design including butterflies.
Lithograph is not framed. Upon purchase the print will be rolled with 2 pieces of acid-free paper and placed in a plastic bag and then placed into a 19"x4"x4" box for shipping.
