An original 1923 registered envelope from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, sent to Mrs. F. C. Barry at Edgecumbe Lodge, Bycullah Road, Enfield. The document features postmarks from The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, dated 28th July 1923, and a corresponding arrival stamp for Enfield from the same day. The envelope is franked with two King George V definitive stamps—a three-halfpence red and a threepence violet—and bears a blue registration label for Tunbridge Wells 2, No. 193. The reverse retains its original red wax seal.
