As a thoughtful gift, purchase this beautiful porcelain September birthday bell, a collectible, limited-edition piece produced in the late 1970s for the Danbury Mint's "Great Porcelain Houses of the World" collection by the renowned decorative porcelain manufacturer, Hutschenreuther company of Bavaria Germany. The bell features a white base, gold gilt trim, glossy finish, blue cornflowers that commonly are identified with the month of September, and blackbirds painted by artist Ole Winther with one side displaying one bird and the other side showcasing a scene of two blackbirds feeding.
The Hutschenreuther maker's mark is visible on the inside of the bell indicating its German porcelain origin.
The bell measures 4.25 inches in height and 2.5 inches in diameter.
In excellent pre-loved condition, the bell shows no flaws.
My goal is to delight my customers so please ask questions or request additional information or photos before purchase as it is impossible to answer all questions after the item has shipped. If you are interested in buying more than one item, please contact the seller before purchase so the items can be combined (and usually discounted) and the shipping costs can be combined (and usually reduced).
The seller generally does not accept returns unless the item is not as described or is damaged during shipping. If an item is the wrong size (in spite of the detailed measurements provided), the seller may consider a return but the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and the item must show no signs of wear and be returned immediately.
If an item is damaged upon arrival, in order to receive a refund, you must notify the seller immediately and provide photographs of all signs of damage. USPS says: If a claim is filed because some or all of the contents are missing or damaged, the addressees must retain the mailing container, including any damaged articles, all packaging, and any contents receipted. Upon written request by the USPS, the addressee must make this proof available to the local post office for inspection, retention, and disposition in accordance with the claims decision. Failure to do so will result in denial of the claim." Other shipping companies have similar requirements.
During packing, the seller photographs each layer for additional evidence to support a refund claim.
If I have failed to provide you with a great product and exceptional service, I would appreciate the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.
Thank you for looking at this item and other items I have for sale. Your interest and purchases, of course, are very much appreciated.
