Details Description
In the mid-1980s, Fender Japan developed the CTL-50R with the 70s Telecaster in mind.
This is an E serial (made around 1984-1987), and is a model with the careful construction and practicality typical of a Japanese product.
It features a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, giving it the crispness typical of a Telecaster, as well as a slightly milder and easier-to-handle tone. The original single-coil pickup has a clean, crunchy sound that makes it stand out when cutting or backing.
This is a typical 80's Fender Japan piece with stable playability while retaining a vintage feel.
There are cracks and large chips in the paint near the jack. The wood is exposed. Also, some of the loose paint in the affected area has been glued.
Some of the silver on both knobs has peeled off, and the remaining parts are sharp, so be careful when handling them to avoid injury.
In addition, there are scratches, dents, rust and dullness on the metal parts, and the overall appearance shows signs of use.
There are no noticeable abnormalities in the neck, and the playing condition is in good condition.
