SABINO

A gorgeous French 1925-1930 art deco table lamp in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding a small sphere in frosted and locally hand polished molded-pressed glass by Marius Sabino.  A beautiful model which exists in several sizes. It is never signed. Yet represented in the old Sabino product catalogs and 1930s magazine advertisements. The lamp has a height of 17,3 cm and the diameter of the globe is 14 cm. The diameter of the base is 10,9 cm. It's in excellent condition. I have renickeled the original Sabino base. On the pictures the lamp is shown with its old French bayonet socket. For the USA Canada or Japan I rewired it with an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug. For European countries I will place a E14 socket. The catalog is of course no part of this sale. As you can see on the last picture I do have a second one of these lamps. The other one has a shade that is slightly whiter and less transparent. They do not look great as a pair. So it is listed in a second ad.
