This rare 1890s Victorian English lidded ceramic Calvert's “Carbolic” toothpaste pot, measuring 1 5/8” x 2 3/8”, is in very good condition with excellent underglaze transfer.  The pot has no discoloration and some small chips. Carbolic acid was a powerful antiseptic used in many medical products.
