Where can the MOTIV MV5 be used?
An aluminum table stand provides secure support for podcasting and vlogging in the home studio or other recording locations. The microphone can be mounted on any standard 1/4" camera tripod, making it a versatile option for recording interviews, live music or video communications. A headphone can be connected to the integrated output of the microphone for real-time control of the audio signal.
How is the unique sound quality achieved?
The microphone is equipped with three DSP preset modes (Vocals, Instrument and Flat), where the sound quality is automatically optimized by adjusting the gain as well as equalizer, compressor and limiter for audio recording in different scenarios.
When using the MOTIV MV5 with the iOS ShurePlus MOTIV app, you get even greater acoustic flexibility. By individually adjusting the limiter, compressor and 5-band EQ you can achieve a unique sound experience.
Which devices is the MOTIV MV5 compatible with?
The MOTIV MV5 digital microphone enables audio recording from a wide range of devices, including computers and cell phones.
The microphone settings can be controlled directly from a connected PC or Mac. Since it is a plug & play device, you have the freedom to choose the audio software for recording in any audio format and digital quality level.
The microphone is Apple MFi certified, which means it can be used with any iOS device that has a Lightning port. The MOTIV MV5 also works with Android devices that support the USB Audio Class 2.0 standard and a Micro B OTG port.
