Period gift inscription on first blank page reads: The Gift of the Right Honorable / The Earl of Orrery / Aug. 12 1751

Bookplate with crest of Abraham Ludlow.
A 30-page index is bound into rear of book.

Book is complete, but front cover and first blank page are detached. Cover amateurishly reattached with Scotch tape, by a previous owner. Back cover and all other pages securely attached at spine. All pages present. No rips, tears, or repairs.

Other than inscriptions noted above, no writing in book. Interior pages are surprisingly clean.

BOOKS & LARGE ITEMS

Some unusually large or heavy items require their own shipping box, and do not qualify for combined shipping. Also, in most cases, books will be shipped via Media Mail, and cannot be shipped with glass or pottery items.
