Signed Rare Art Deco, Art Nouveau Hungarian Athlethic Club plaque medal award made in 1925.  

Depicting a male nude gladiator fighting with a lion with bare hands. Other side is an old oak tree with a blank crest and an eagle on the top. 1875 - 1925 at the 50 th anniversary of the Club.

Reserved in perfect condition with nice patina. Comes in its original red leather box with perfect opening mechanism.

Side is pressed with the maker’s mark: LUDVIG

 Artist: Beran Lajos (Hungarian 1882-1943) Sculptor and medal artist. Studied in Budapest and Vienna. Art director of hungarian mintage from 1932.
