"Viper Snake"
"An Arab State in the Heart of the Earth - A National Disaster"
"Israel Expects Another Peace"
Bottom Right - "The Headquarters for the Peace of the People and the Land"

The phrase "Viper" is a reference to the Gulf War that took place two years earlier between the US and Iraq when Israel was within range of Iraq's missiles.
The warning of missile fire was given to citizens through a single system - the code name "Viper" broke into the radio broadcasts and ordered the warning to be activated. This is how the sirens deployed throughout the country were activated manually, and this is how the announcements were delivered to the media. A single warning was activated for all localities in the country through the siren system, which was activated manually.

About the poster: (From an article on the website of the newspaper "Makor Rishon" on the subject of the protest against the Oslo peace talks in 1993. published two weeks before October 7, 2023):
Yona Pressburger, now a graphic artist and resident of Mitzpe-Jericho, documented the Oslo protests in a book he produced. He was born in France, Arzate as a teenager, he converted to Judaism and while studying at the Hesder yeshiva became an activist in the Land of Israel. During the Oslo period, he designed, together with his father, the artist Yitzhak Pressburger, protest posters that were distributed throughout the country.

"The background for the posters was the student revolution in France in the late 1960s, which was close to civil war," he says. "My father, a Holocaust survivor, was at the Sorbonne, the epicenter of the demonstrations, and saw how people managed to win hearts through artistic posters. When the Oslo period arrived, he was eager to create protest art. The first poster he created was of terrorists emerging from a map of the Land of Israel with Kalashnikovs in their hands. Next to the illustration was written: 'A viper snake - an Arab state in the heart of the land is an existential danger.' He also drew a dove of peace from which emerges a hand adorned with a ring in the colors of the PLO flag."

The posters were distributed from Eilat to Kiryat Shmona, funded by a group of diamond merchants and businessmen. "Even the working settlers took part in the struggle, including veteran pioneers in the Jezreel Valley. There was even a protest tent at the Kfar Yehoshua junction. The Shin Bet tried at one point to incriminate my father. Someone ordered an incendiary poster against Rabin, but we didn't fall for the trap."

"The right-wingers warned about what was coming, and it turned out they were right. We thought that the next generation, who will ask how we gave guns and brought terrorists into the heart of the Land of Israel, should receive an answer. That's why we decided to show that not all the people went and sold the Land of Israel, and there were those who warned and warned. The right was right and the left was delusional, and it is unfair to claim that this beautiful people sold their country."
