If your hole centres on your bike are 44mm. Please check because on some models and years taps with 50mm hole centres were used.

Don't mess about trying to reseal your years old original fuel tap. We have tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front or just flow and drip continuously and are corroded inside anyway. Also the seal kits are expensive too.
OK so this tap not original Suzuki but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one. Remember that new old stock could actually be over 40 years old now!

Technical specifications:
These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!
Please check your old tap carefully you should have 1 fuel outlet plus one vacuum tube on the left hand side. See our pictures
* For 44mm Mounting Hole spacing tanks
* Connection to fuel line: 6 mm internal diameter fuel pipe required. NOTE This is smaller than the original pipe so you will need to buy one of our 8mm to 6mm brass fuel reducers. If you buy this tap and the fuel reducer at the same time we will supply you with a 75mm or 3 inch piece of 6mm pipe to join it up.
* Vacuum connection: NONE so your existing vacuum pipe should be blanked off with a small bolt and clip
* 2 Fibre washers are supplied for your 6mm bolts.You will need 20mm long M6 screws / bolts which we sell separately
Spare in tank filters are available from us too should you need to wash out or repaint your fuel tank.
Our tap has an internal mesh filter within the bottom of the tap plus the tank internal syphon pipes also have top filters.
There is also a drain screw and sealing washer on the front which can be used to regularly drain the tap and remove any dirt as part of your servicing and maintenance regime 😁

We recommend that you drain down the fuel tank and tap annually, clean the internal filter and fit an inline fuel filter too.
We sell those separately.
Old tanks are getting rusty inside with the E5 and E10 petrol and an inline filter catches the dirt and rust particles before they get into the carburettors.
We also sell very good quality E5 and E10 compliant heavy wall thickness petrol pipe to suit this tap if you don't want to use the old pipe.
