Up for bid is a game used bat from Colt .45s and Astros catcher, #7 John Bateman.  This Hillerich & Bradsby (now Louisville Slugger) bat dates to the 1965 to 1968 seasons and the 1965 to 1968 H&B labeling period.  His #7 is on the knob and barrel end.  The bat is uncracked and has no pieces missing.  The bat shows moderate game use with light baseball marks, some seam marks, and wear to the handle.    

The bat was obtained from a long-time game used bat collector that accumulated a collection from the early 1970s to early 2000s.   The bat is guaranteed authentic!
