Foxfire Games deals with VF (Very Fine - 9.0) to NM (Near Mint - 9.6) books. Foxfire Games does not guarantee NM/M (9.8) or gem mint copies.

Minor spine scratches and corner ticks are the new standard. Publishers are using progressively worse paper for impression. Returns and/or refund claims for these defaults are not accepted by publishers; therefore Foxfire Games is unable to accept returns under these terms.

Foxfire Games will not respond to emails or inquiries about book condition, or to requests for pictures if a stock image is used in the listing.

The staff at Foxfire Games takes great care of each book once in our hands. Please note:

  • We are not the first people to handle your comics (after publishers and shippers).
  • Comics are bagged and boarded in store by careful staff, after printer and warehouse handling.

Foxfire Games accepts returns for books damaged in transit, but we cannot guarantee High Grade books every time.

Shipping

Please note that shipping and release dates are approximate. Items usually ship within 3 business days of receiving orders, receiving stock shipment, and after the legal release date.

All orders of 1 to 4 single issue comic books are shipped in a bubble envelope securely taped between two sturdy cardboard pieces via Canada Post Lettermail. After 4 books, we ship in a cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap.

  • Lettermail shipping includes tracking & insurance.
  • Customers may select Expedited Parcel Shipping regardless of order contents if they prefer boxed shipping with tracking and insurance.
  • Customers may refer to our ratings comments to see our packaging standards.

eBay Combined Shipping

Foxfire Games offers combined shipping.

  • To access combined shipping reduced fees, please complete your order on a desktop computer using a Chromium-based browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, etc.
  • The combined shipping fee is $0.30 per additional book.
  • When your cart is full, click the REQUEST TOTAL button at checkout, then await our manual invoice to complete payment.
  • Foxfire Games takes on average 1 business day to send your manual invoice.
  • Your items are reserved on our eBay stock while you await the invoice.
  • For USA & International buyers, we use the eBay International Shipping program.
  • If payment is not processed within 96 hours (4 days) of purchase, eBay will automatically cancel your order. Foxfire Games cannot change or prevent this.

Please be mindful of your timeframes. It is the customer's responsibility to be properly informed of purchase conditions before placing an order. There are no exceptions. If asked, we will refer you to this section.

Working Hours

We operate within standard business hours when submitting combined shipping invoices, responding to messages, and making or accepting counter offers.

Foxfire Games staff will always attempt to respond within 1 to 2 business days. Our eBay store and online staff are unavailable on weekends (Sat/Sun). We may respond outside these hours but cannot guarantee doing so.

eBay Pre-Orders

Please check the item title or description for pre-order or pre-sale release dates. Publishers frequently change, push, and delay release dates â please check the listing page for updates.

  • If you purchased an item before a release date update, the item title on your order is locked and cannot be changed. The listing, however, will continue to be updated as we receive new information.

Please ignore eBay shipping dates and timeframes. Instead, refer to the dates in the item title to understand when your item will ship.

  • If the release date has passed or is this week â your order ships within 5 business days.
  • If the release date is next month â your order ships within the week of the release date.
  • If the release date is more than 3 months away â your order ships when the book arrives in store, regardless of eBay's 3-month deadline, as we cannot ship an unreleased book.
