This buy it now auction is for two ORIGINAL items of Manchester United memorabilia

featuring the iconic players Georgie Best and Eric Cantona arguably United’s best players since the Munich air disaster.

The George Best item is an extremely rare carded coat hangar featuring his head and shoulders portrait.The term rare is a much over used adjective on eBay but in this instance it is fully justified.The second item is a flag depicting the wonderful Eric Cantona whose arrival at Old Trafford lit the fuse to a staggering run of success for Alex Ferguson’s team.

The flag is original and not one of the many modern reproductions.It depicts the French flag with a black and white portrait of Cantona and the words “Eric the King” under which is the Manchester United Crest.

I have been lucky enough to see these players at their best for United.

These days football fans lament the passing of the good old days still avidly watching an underperforming team just starting to show a sign or two of a better future and hoping but doubting United will rise like Phoenix from the ashes.Where there is life there is always hope !

CONDITION

As can be seen the George Best hangar is missing the top and has some damage to the corners.The Cantona flag does not have it’s flag pole and could do with an iron but it is in very good condition.
