This is a Hunter ICC-800PL controller with both the 8 station and a 4 station expansion module for a total of 12 stations.

The ICC controller can be programmed to run 3 turf programs and one drip irrigation program.

Multiple programs are sometimes required if you re-landscape an area and need to water just that area multiple times a day to sprout seed.  Another reason you may need multiple programs is if you wish to water the grass 3 times a week but the shrubs 1 time a week.  A third program may be needed for a flower section that you want to run on a daily basis.  This controller can handle all these situations.

There is one key included with the controller as it is secured in a locked enclosure for commercial use.

Generally this controller is sold without a cord and if used outside it is generally hard-wired.  If it is used outside corded then an in-use outdoor outlet cover is required.

Currently, this is wired for 120v but the transformer is capable of being wired for 240 volts.  However, the wires connected to the transformer will change so please contact me for the information on which wires to use if you wish to use this in a 220/240 volt application.

The pictures show that the transformer puts out the correct voltage and when a station is run, like station 11 in this example.  You will have the correct voltage at the master-valve/pump terminal, the zone running (zone 11 in the example), and also at the valve test terminal.  In other words, it is a fully functioning controller.

The yellow wire you see connected to the two terminals labelled "SEN" are for a rain sensor, if you install one.  The yellow wire is a jumper wire because if you have the sensor switch set to "Active" instead of "Bypass" then if there is no sensor or bypass wire, the controller will not start.

This controller also uses a non-rechargeable 9v battery, not included, to keep the time in the event the controller loses power.
