Glued to MusicThe Faber ABRM-59 Tune-o-matic Bridge is a '50s vintage correct 'no wire' ABR-1 style bridge with the post spacing and hole size to fit most Gibson Nashville style bridges (the ABRM will not fit the new larger 5 mm Gibson Nashville without conversion posts or imperial 6-32 ABR-1 TOM posts) and copies of Gibson Nashville bridges (it will not fit over the large 6 mm posts used on many Epiphone and other guitars made in East Asia without conversion posts which we stock as a separate item). We stock these with brass saddles (both plated and plain brass) and also nylon saddles (to match some select vintage ABR-1 bridges), the saddles have the Gibson 12" radius. The Faber ABRM is designed as an upgrade piece it comes as just the body, bridge posts are not included. Please take care not to adjust the intonation of the saddle beyond its limits as this will break the intonation screw. The nylon saddles are supplied unnotched to allow them to be slotted to the correct string spacing and gauge for your guitar.
If you need to replace a Gibson ABR-1 spec Tune-o-matic we stock the Faber ABRH.
The photo shows the low E, A, D string saddles facing backwards but most of our stock now has just the Low E and A string saddle facing backwards and the D facing forwards, we cannot guarantee either arrangement but the saddle direction is reversible if you wish to change it.
