Vintage KitchenAid Hobart Model K45 Mixer, Special "Harvest" 1979 Edition - EUC -- Extremely Rare

Used - Excellent Used Condition - Mixer was professionally cleaned inside and out for this listing.  Speed control was calibrated to factory specifications.   Original factory Du-Luxe white paint finish was also cleaned and polished.  There are some light scratch marks and some very mild yellowing of white paint near the motor banding (see all pictures).  The last three pictures show the paint scratches / wear marks.  There is also a very tiny impression or shallow dent in the back motor housing where it meets the round motor cup (see last picture).  This impression is very hard to see unless looking directly at the mixer from the rear.  Original white electric cord, soft, clean and pliable.  White powder coating on beater and dough hook have no chips / wear marks indicating very little use.  Mixer is ready for immediate food use or countertop display.  It is in outstanding condition for its age.

Hobart Mfg. Corp. came out with this special edition mixer in the last year of Model K45 production which was 1979 and continued to make it for the first year of its successor K45SS in 1980.  The K45 special edition had 4 arrangements of fruit and leaves on the motor banding.  The K45SS version had only two.  The four pieces of fruit shown in color are yellow bananas, red apple, green pear, and orange peach.  Each arrangement of fruit also has smaller black and white fruit and leaves in the design.  This special band was painted at the factory on the metal banding.  The fruit is not a decal.
