Archive Chilli Pepper Silk Blend Dress – circa 1999

Authentic Dolce & Gabbana archival dress, dating to circa 1999, from the brand’s iconic late 1990s period. This era is widely recognised as one of Dolce & Gabbana’s most celebrated phases, characterised by bold Mediterranean references, food-inspired prints and sensual yet playful silhouettes.

Sleeveless straight-cut mini dress crafted in a lightweight silk blend fabric, featuring an all-over red chilli pepper print on an ivory background. The front presents a clean, minimalist neckline, while the back reveals a deep scoop back with a dramatic design detail.

The dress is finished with a sheer red organza bow, which is fully removable. The bow attaches securely to the back of the dress via six gold-tone snap buttons, allowing the piece to be worn either with the statement bow for a more theatrical look, or without it for a cleaner, understated silhouette. This removable construction is a refined couture-style detail typical of Dolce & Gabbana’s late 1990s production.

CONDITIONS: excellent vintage condition, the composition tags have been partially cut off, it has few small light spots as shown in the last pictures and on the lining due to the age.
