This is the traditional Golden Gate 1920's bridge design for mandolin. It is made by Saga from select ebony. The top is compensated for intonation, and the height is adjustable with two gold thumb-screws. The base is shaped to conform to most mandolin tops, although some additional fitting to the curve of the top may be needed. Minimum height is approximately 7/8 inch for arch tops or 1 inch for flat tops. Maximum is 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 inch.
