Meng Model - Dune Spice Harvester

The Spice Harvester in Dune is a massive, industrial machine designed to extract the valuable spice "melange" from the sands of the desert planet Arrakis. These harvesters are essential for collecting spice, a rare substance that grants extended life, enhanced mental abilities and is critical for space travel. Constructed to withstand the harsh desert environment, a harvester is a large, armored vehicle equipped with wide treads to navigate the shifting sands and a powerful suction system to draw spice from beneath the surface. Due to the ever-present danger of colossal sandworms, which are attracted to the rhythmic vibrations of the harvester, each operation is closely monitored from the sky by escort ships known as "ornithopters."  When a worm is detected, the harvester must be evacuated quickly to avoid destruction.  These machines embody the perilous balance between resource extraction and survival on Arrakis, highlighting the precarious nature of spice mining in the Dune universe. This model perfectly reproduces the exquisite details of the spice mining vehicle, from the flexible spice mining machine to the all-terrain tracks that adapt to various terrains. Every part has been carefully designed to ensure the most realistic restoration and the highest assembly fun.
