The earliest WWII vehicle first aid kits had no item number or stock number. In January 1944, the word ITEM and number 9777300 were added. In June 1944, the word ITEM was replaced with the word STOCK and number 9777300. If you are restoring a pre-January 1944 vehicle, mask over the word ITEM and 9777300.
