"Elephant's Memory" is the 1969 album of the same name by the American rock band from New York. They are best known as the backing band for John Lennon and Yoko Ono. When performing live with Lennon and Ono, they were also known as the Plastic Ono Elephant's Memory Band. Before collaborating with Lennon and Ono, the band had already worked on three albums. Two of their songs, "Jungle Gym at the Zoo" and "Old Man Willow", appeared on the soundtrack of the 1969 film Midnight Cowboy. The band's style can be described as psychedelic rock.
