UltraDisc One-Step (UD1S) process

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's UltraDisc One-Step (UD1S) process bypasses the generational losses of the traditional three-step coating process by eliminating two steps: the manufacture of father and mother plates, which are designed to produce numerous stampers from each cut lacquer. With UD1S coating, the stampers (also called "converts") are made directly from the paints. Since each varnish only produces one die, several varnishes have to be cut. Mobile Fidelity's UD1S process produces an LP with the lowest possible noise floor. Eliminating two steps in the coating process also reveals musical details and dynamics that would be lost in the traditional multi-stage process. With UD1S, every aspect of vinyl production is optimized to produce the best sounding vinyl album available today.

MoFi SuperVinyl

Developed by NEOTECH and RTI, MoFi SuperVinyl is the most sophisticated vinyl blend ever developed. Analog lovers have never seen (or heard) anything like it. The extraordinarily expensive and extremely complex special compound is aimed at two specific areas of improvement: reduction of the background noise and improved groove definition.
