This PCB adapter is suitable for all SMD packages meeting SO, SOP and SOIC P 1.27 specifications and has a 0.3" DIL spacing.

It is supplied with Turned Pin Headers to allow for use with standard 0.1" prototype boards, through hole PCB's, as well as a direct replacement for the equivalent pinout DIP ICs.

To allow unrestricted working access, the header pins are not fitted but are included with the item.

After the SMD has been soldered in place, to ensure correct fitting, it is strongly recommended that the header pins are inserted into a 0.3" IC socket before soldering them to the SOP8 PCB.
