The two sides of Alicia Keys

In December 2021, Alicia Keys released her new album "Keys", initially digitally. In 2022 we can now look forward to the physical release of the long player on double CD.

"Keys" is the eighth studio album by the American singer, songwriter and R'n'B icon, the successor to "Alicia" from 2020.

The double album contains 26 tracks and consists of two parts, a piano album entitled "Original" and a bonus album called "Unlocked", which moves between hip-hop, R'n'B and EDM. Ten of the tracks can be found on both CDs and therefore in different versions, alongside six other songs.

»The Originals come from the classical side of me! It's the AK we want! A homecoming. On the Unlocked side, I wanted to sample the originals to create a completely different sound experience," says the singer. She already made it clear that she had succeeded with the singles “Lala (Unlocked)” and “Best Of Me”.

Alicia Keys was involved in Allen songs on her new album »Keys« as a producer and songwriter. However, she was supported by colleagues such as Mike Will Made It, Sia, Raphael Saadiq and Natalie Hemby. The singer also invited a few duet partners. Guests on both parts of the album include singers and rappers Khalid, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, Swae Lee, country singer Brandi Carlile and British singer and composer Jacob Collier.
