Originally drafted 72nd overall by the Quebec Nordiques at the 1987 NHL Entry Draft after four (4) seasons with the Michigan State University Spartans in the NCAA where he was awarded the Hobey Baker Award in 1990, Kip Miller would go on to play in 449 National Hockey League contests over the course of his career with eight (8) different franchises.
