Elegant mid-Victorian small mahogany tea caddy in the typical Georgian form of a sarcophagus, with a domed hinged lid. The interior has two sections; the top of the lid is trimmed with a gadrooned border and the body is raised on four squat bun feet.
Made in England, c. 1860’s.

Very good antique condition. Wear inside and to liner appropriate to age and use; no internal lids; losses to corners; lid doesn't sit flush; some cracking to the exterior veneer.
