Offered for sale is a BEAUTIFUL SET of FOUR PRIMARY COLORS mixing bowls that was manufactured by the Pyrex Glass Company during the 1950's / 1960's.   Many of us remember our mothers, aunts, grandmothers... using these bowls while we were growing up.  Seeing these four bowls together makes you smile and yearn for the simpler days of yesteryear.  The largest bowl, the yellow bowl, measures 10 1/4 inches across and stands 4 1/2 inches tall.  It holds 4 quarts and the yellow color on this bowl is very good!  There is some scratching around the outer bottom of the bowl from use.  See photos.  The next size, the green bowl, measures 8 3/4 inches across and stands 4 inches tall.  The color is outstanding - I would rate it a 9 out of 10 if I had to rate it.  The next size, the red bowl, measures 7 1/4 inches across and stands 3 1/2 inches tall (or a tad bit higher).  The red is usually the problematic bowl but not in this case - the color is VERY VERY GOOD - I would rate it a 7 or 8 out of 10 if I had to rate it.  PLEASE NOTE that the red color is strong and the color is more matte than glossy on this particular bowl - I don't know if it's due to the washing or care of it or if it was just made that way.  The smallest bowl, the blue bowl, measures 5 3/4 inches across and 3 1/4 inches tall.  This bowl shows some use marks on the outer part of the bowl.  There is also discoloration when you look closely at the bowl.  It presents well with the other bowls  - I would rate it a 6 or 7/10 but I am being harsh.. This is really a gorgeous set and you will be well-pleased with it!  Please see all of the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  This is a heavy set so check the shipping price before making a purchase.  I mailed a set recently from NJ to GA and the shipping cost was about 26 dollars so you might use that as a reference point.  These sets are getting harder and harder to find so if you like it, snap it up as soon as you can.  You will NOT be disappointed!!
