“For sale is a 1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata Convertible in great condition, finished in classic silver with a black soft top, black interior, and a matching front bra. This Miata features the 1.8L engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and comes equipped with the desirable Popular Equipment Package. Originally in long-term storage, the car was brought back to life last summer and has since undergone extensive maintenance and upgrades. It received new tires and a new battery in the fall, along with fresh engine, transmission, and rear axle fluids. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced, brake rotors were turned, pads cleaned, and both the brakes and clutch were bled. The interior carpeting was professionally cleaned with the seats removed for a deep refresh. There is a 6-disc CD-changer located in the trunk, which is accessible in the center console. For added performance, the original square exhaust manifold was replaced with a more efficient header-style manifold, and a Jackson MP-62 Supercharger System was installed—boosting the car's power from 140 to approximately 180 horsepower. The supercharger system alone was a $3,000 investment and significantly enhances the driving experience while retaining the lightweight, balanced feel that Miatas are loved for. Kelley Blue Book values this car at $7,500 before the performance upgrades. Carfax and window sticker available upon request.
