Vintage 1982 Popeye Novelty Landline Telephone

A fun and collectible vintage novelty telephone featuring the iconic character Popeye. This sculptural phone dates from early 1980s and is marked as © King Features Syndicate Inc. 1982. Made in Hong Kong, it features a stylised figure of Popeye holding the a can of spinach which acts as the earpiece, with the dialling pad located on the base.
The phone has been tested and is in working order, though it may require an adapter depending on your landline setup, these are easily obtainable. A great display piece or conversation starter for any fan of Popeye, vintage cartoon memorabilia, 1980s design, or character telephones.
