THE COATING OF THE MONO HEAD IS SLIGHTLY STICKY, THE RUBBER THAT WAS USED HAS DEGRADED OVER TIME TO BECOME A LITTLE STICKY.  IT DOES NOT EFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE LIGHT .
