Antique J & E Stevens Cast Iron Mechanical Bull Dog Coin on Nose Bank 1880

Fantastic working cast iron mechanical bank from the late 1900s. "Pat April 27 1880" is marked on the bottom. Has some paint and age wear. A coin is placed on the nose, as you pull down on the tail, the jaw opens and the rear section of the flat striated rises up causing the coin top fall forward into the mouth. No key for stopper. Measures 7.5" tall and about 6" long.
