This is signed vintage photo by the F1 Race Car Driver Gilles Villeneuve. This vintage photo was signed in black ink with the autograph showing very nice, clear and readable. This is a pretty rare autograph, they don't come on the market often, especially won from the early part of his career.  I believe this photo was taken during the 1979 Formula One season. Gilles Villeneuve drove the Ferrari 312T4 with car number 12. He used this car to win three Grands Prix and finish second in the championship behind his teammate, Jody Scheckter. Gilles Villeneuve was a Canadian Formula One driver who rose from snowmobile racing to become a legendary driver for Ferrari. Born in Quebec in 1950, he is remembered for his aggressive driving style and his six Formula One wins, with his career tragically ending in a fatal crash in 1982. His son, Jacques Villeneuve, later won the 1997 Formula One World Championship. The condition of this photo is good, and the autograph clean. (See my Ayrton Senna & Jim Clark Signed Photos) But it does shows signs of age, but overall is still very nice and clean.
