This AVR tester is compatible with Honda’s larger traditional generator models (non-inverter) that use a separate AVR component. Models include (but may not be limited to):
Honda EB series (larger units)
Honda EX series (non-inverter if applicable)
Honda EM / EG series (non-inverter)
Other industrial/common frame Honda generators that use the 07KPJ-0xxxx AVR module
If you have an inverter generator, this unit won’t apply. It’s for older or heavy-duty style generators where the AVR is separate and serviceable.
