Measuring 9.5x 11.5 x3.5 inches, the pages and leather are in excellent condition.

Family Bible from 1866, featuring beautiful gilt leather binding with gilded pages. It was published by J. B. Lippincott & Co. in Philadelphia. There is writing depicted in the pictures.

The restoration process includes reparing and rebinding pages when necessary, using a special leather conditioner to prevent further deterioration, reattaching covers and spines, and sometimes using dye to restore the original color. Restored bibles utilize as much of the original leather as possible, and are made to be fully functional.
