The Nightowl Butcher is one of the most infamous sculpts in the hobby’s history. Before Trick-or-Treat Studios was a thing; Justin Mabry only created independent sculpts. He still offers certain sculpts like the Creep, but this isn’t on that list. Due to popularity this was brought back in 2010.

The OG in the hobby likely remember both 2005 & 2006 as the best years we had. There’s no debate the latex quality is leaps and bounds ahead of other years. A huge reason why 2005 Psychos fetch more than any other year.

The big difference between 2006 Nightowl Productions Butcher and the 2010 is latex thickness. Aside from that, you can tell it is a mask from the original year versus 2010 is that the 2010 copies say “Butcher” on the back of the neck. The original don’t. This is a Special Edition copy from the first run of 2006. Reminiscent of the H5 mask in some ways. Impossible to capture the colors. Never tried on. Kept behind glass for 2 decades.
