This OG Air Jordan 18 in Black/Sport Royal released in February 2003. Conceived by Jordan Brand's senior footwear designer Tate Kuerbis, the AJ18 is the last model that Michael wore on an NBA court. It took inspiration from the disparate worlds of auto racing and fine Italian dress shoes, both of which can be seen on the carbon fiber plate and rubber heel wrap. Chrome eyelets and lace tips add to the shoe’s premium look.
