Offered for your consideration is this 1980 Technical Data Book for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. This is a soft cover book in paper format,and was published in January 1980, and is 534 pages in length. It covers models 107, 116, 123 and 126. Mercedes-Benz Technical Data Books are considered the "Bible" when it comes to supplying all technical specifications on the included models, including measurements, clearances, capacities, tolerances, ratings, conversions ... pretty much anything you can think of. It is the comprehensive guide to all things technical and is an invaluable resource. These books are no longer produced for newer vehicles, and as such, are also considered collector's items.
As stated in the condition description above, this book is very nearly new. Here are the reasons I did not list it as new:
- It was in storage for 22 years, and it had a paper clip inside the front cover with a business card. Over that period of time, the paper clip made a slight half-round impression in the front cover and the first 25-30 pages. It is hardly visible, but it is there and I wanted to disclose it (see photos 4&5)
- On page 67 and 68 there is slight tear at the top of page, and the page is wrinkled. There are also a couple of lines that were highlighted in yellow ... now very faded (see photo 6)
That's it. Other than that, this book is in perfect, as-new condition.
