When it was published in 1975 '' Wish You Were here '', both in the UK and in the USA, came to the top of the album charts. The album reflects the band's views at that time about the music business and deals with the issues of absence and loss, especially in the classic '' Shine on You Crazy Diamond '', a tribute to founding member Syd Barrett.

The legendary ninth pink floyd album finally back on vinyl again

The vinyll lovers were longing for this among Pink Floyd fans. The rock legends gradually publish all their albums as LPs. In June 2016 it started with the first four records of the band, and further albums followed in August and September. Now the series is continued again, with "Wish you were here".

The songs of the new edition were newly mastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman. All Reissues of the series appear on 180 g heavy vinyl. Coverartwork is the original design.
