In found condition. A 4 oz Cobalt Blue Ink Bottle with original cork and partial label. Dried ink residue inside. Some dried residue on outside. Dusted off only. Please see images. Partial label from the John Holland Gold Pen Co.
A large maker of pens and related products during the late 19th century. John Holland started his company in 1862 when John acquired the gold nibs manufacturing company started by George Sheppard in 1841. John had been employed by George Sheppard around 1850. The John Holland company continued operations until 1950, when his last son died.
