Wilson The Duke Leather NFL football. Fully Restored. Game Prepped.

Beautiful Roger Goodell era football. Date code KW. Unknown autograph on one of the lower panels. See pics.

The leather has been conditioned, I replaced the bladder with a brand new latex bladder and new white Wilson laces. The ball was then game prepped with official Wilson products following recommended game prepping techniques.

I have pulled a number of rotting rubber bladders out of old and even relatively new Wilson footballs. Replacement cheaply made rubber bladders have become very difficult to find and are often ridiculously overpriced. I have started using brand new latex bladders and have been very impressed with the results. I think the footballs have a bit of a softer feel to them and the grip is fantatic. Every type of bladder (rubber, butyl, latex) will slowly lose air pressure over time through the valve and these latex bladders are no different. I recommend checking air pressure on a regular basis and adding air when pressure drops to 10 PSI or lower. I also recommend using a lubricant on the valve needle such as glycerin oil or vaseline or any good quality grease - this is very important with any type of bladder/valve to ensure the valve is not damaged.

I enjoy taking high quality vintage leather footballs and restoring them to “good as new” condition. Every ball I sell is ready for play. I’m happy to combine shipping.
