In February 2017, Midnight Oil announced that they would be playing the opener of their The Great Circle World Tour in Sydney Harbour. The tour was the band's first in over 15 years and takes Midnight Oil to 16 countries, where they played 76 gigs in 6 months. The crowning achievement was this last concert in November 2017 at the famous venue The Domain in Sydney, which was recorded and is now being released as a live triple LP.

Their massive hits Beds are Burning and Blue Sky Mine were also part of the set list, as were fan favorites Read About It and Only the Strong. Armistice Day is a fantastic live experience full of energy and with a lot of attention to the band's often political themes.
