Avril Lavigne fans had to wait more than three years for a new album from the Canadian superstar - in March 2011 the time had finally come: the 26-year-old musician, songwriter and producer released her fourth album, "Goodbye Lullaby". This time she was responsible for the songwriting of each of the songs on the album alone or as a co-author, and she even wrote and produced two of the pieces completely alone.
As the first single, Lavigne, who has sold more than thirty million albums and twenty million songs/tracks worldwide in the past eight years, chose a trademark uptempo punk pop number entitled "What The Hell", which was created in collaboration with pop genius Max Martin (P!NK, KELLY Clarkson etc.).
