Signed Rare Art Deco Hungarian Bronze figure statue sculpture made in 1920. Depicting a famous folk novel character the shepherd boy: Pétörke. His name is also written on the statue's front. Screwed on a white marble base.

Reserved in perfect condition with little patina.  

Signed at the back: Beran.  

Artist: Beran Lajos (Hungarian 1882-1943) Sculptor and medal artist. Studied in Budapest and Vienna. Art director of hungarian mintage from 1932.
