The device powers on, the indicator lights illuminate and the screen turns on. Once on the screen reads pump stopped with a flow sensor error which I believe is normal since it isn't attached to anything. Since we do not have the pump, no further testing has been conducted. This device is used as an advanced circulatory support system for temporary emergency rescue patients in a variety of hospital settings. Overall this is a great unit and we guarantee it will not be DOA.

The system leverages a common compact console and pump, with four reay-to-deploy kits. Designed for ease of use, LifeSPARC offers a versatile, simple, yet powerful advanced circulatory support system to enable more patients to have access to this high level of support.
A lightweight controller and docking station featuring four simple screens intended to help manage patients with confidence. The streamlined user interface helps minimize the learning curve for both new and expert-level programs.
A small but powerful pump, capable of 8 LPM of blood flow, with a magnetic pivot bearing, supports a variety of cardiac and respiratory rescue conditions. The pump is designed for a rapid, repeatable deployment process, which is key in initiating advanced circulatory support in diverse clinical environments. The integrated pump head and motor can be placed in the sterile field and on the patient, reducing the overall circuit surface area, simplifying patient management.
The LifeSPARC system can be primed in minutes enabling temporary circulatory support in a variety of hospital settings. With a two-hour battery backup, the LifeSPARC controller can be removed from the docking station and carried via strap to make in-hospital transport less cumbersome. The four ready-to-deploy kits support diverse cannulation strategies for both Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) and Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS)
Condition & Testing
This item has some cosmetic damage in the form of cracked missing pieces to the outer plastic casing of the device (see pics) We successfully powered on the device and the damage does not appear to affect the devices function in any way. Once on the device screen shows that the pump is stopped and flow sensor error which I believe is normal since it is not attached to anything. Since we do not have the pump, no further testing has been conducted but it is guaranteed not to be DOA.
