Here is a gorgeous, antique, early 19th century serving or trinket dish in the form of a sea shell.
It features a blue transfer floral pattern with hand-painted details, and a nice pearlware glaze finish.
It is unmarked as to maker, but is clearly from the Staffordshire, England area, and dates from the first half of the 19th century.
It measures 9- 1/4 inches long, by 4- 7/8ths inches wide, and is 1- 1/4 inches deep.

This dish is in excellent, used antique, condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It is clean and bright with minimal surface wear! (See photos).
