Antique Meerschaum pipe from 1800's. Depicting a gaping man in sleeping hat. On the other end of the pipe is a wolf head. In my opinion this artwork symbolizes how a man becomes werewolf or wolverine at night. Baroque style patterns all around. An early example of the werewolf myth.

The artwork is in perfect condition compare to its age, light scratches and wear, as you can see it on the photos. It is a used antique piece with soot inside. Stem is missing. No repair, or damage.
